I don’t know about you but I LOVE flowers.

I like to see them when I look out my windows.

I like to see them on my front porch.

I like to see them on my back porch.

I. LIKE. FLOWERS. ALL. THE. TIME!!!

Which means every season, I try to find some flowers that’ll survive our harsh environment. We live in zone 6b with extreme temps from zero to 100+ and a regular breeze 15-20 mph. We also sustain occasional gusts of wind ranging from 30 to 50 mph, but during storm season, our winds can gust even higher.

So that makes finding plants, especially flowers, a little tricky.

But where there’s a will, there’s a way.

I finally found some hardy plants and flowers that will last all winter long.

Pansies and cabbage!! Pansies are adorable by themselves but paired with cabbage, gives it some height and depth to the arrangement.
