If your head is still swimming because you can’t eat gluten anymore, then try to focus on what you can eat. Think positive!!
Ready to get started?? Let’s do this!!
Let’s start by listing your favorite foods. Narrowing down what you can eat helps you identify possibilities.
Think about the fruit category. How many fruits do you like? Some of the most common are bananas, apples, assorted berries, pineapple, oranges, etc. Now take a few minutes and think of all the fruits you like.
Just like you did with the fruit category, you are going to walk through the same process with vegetables. Now take some time and think of all the vegetables you like. Some common ones are tomatoes, green beans, celery, carrots, bell pepper, onions, etc.
Let’s look at the meat category. I don’t know about you but I don’t venture too far out from the chicken and beef. But if you like fish or shrimp, then include those too.
Grains! Oh the glutenous items you might miss! Just wait for the fun recipes I have ready for you! When adding to this list, add both brown and white rice, quinoa, oats, nuts, seeds, or whatever you like.
You will see that your eyes will be wide open to a large variety of items you might like.
Now that you are finished with your list, what do you see?
You will soon be able to create easy recipes just by the items you listed. Be looking for some of our favorites!
If this process overwhelms you, take each category day-by-day. Remember, these are your lists. There is no right or wrong way to make your lists.
